Just found out about an hour ago that they are benz seats...

^^Thanks for all the input guys..I dont think i will be changing the color as i like red and its gonna be a hassle to change the color if i wanna do a good color change paint job....

That is the 1991 318i theft recovery right? Saw it on Autotrader a while ago. It'll be a great car when you get her going. How's the roof and rear window?

I just can't understand why anyone would go through the trouble of stealing the car, and just pull the interior and bumpers... why not take the roof too while you're at it? Oh well, lucky they didn't.

^^^Thas exactly what i said but aww well...shit happens.Its coming alont pretty well tho...all the parts are in and i should have it painted by sun at the latest.

I am almost sure it was a fake insurance claim (scam) because the steering wheel was gone when i got the car, and you NEED the key to take it out (lock was not damaged) so whoever stripped the car, had keys...
Also the muffler was cut off clean, like you can only do on a hoist...and with plenty of time and tools...
