e39 is done
I'm done playing with it. Anything more is a waste, given it's 'just' an automatic...

Very nice. Not a huge fan of the headlight eyebrows but otherwise

wow! that's a really nice e39! only the the side color matched side mouldings makes me ask if that's how it's supposed to be?
otherwise, tastefully done. wished my car looked as good as yours!

Because it's a facelifted e39, with an addon front and rear kit. I was tempted to spray the rubstrips body color as well, but decided no. Having the door strips black seemed like too much work and a step backward...

Things I would do:
Paint door moldings black to match bumpers
Shadowline trim
slam it
paint fog light covers black

Heh. Exactly what I didn't choose to do Then it would be like any other titanium silver last gen e39...
Paint door moldings black to match bumpers
-- would have, but it's good now with the hybrid front black and side silver/chrome
Shadowline trim
-- thought of that, AND doing the front grill black, but then I would need to do the door trim black too to 'match'. Chrome accent keeps it a bit 'elegant' for now.
slam it
-- made a choice to lower it but just enough to clean the gap. Maintaining a civil look.. the e34 is slammed and that's good enough for me now. If this were a 6 spd and my dream trim type, then yeah... I still have the 135iM to work on!
paint fog light covers black
-- painted it body color just to keep things cleaner. It was a choice to keep things not so black. It's either go all black/shadowline/grill/mouldings etc, or not... and in this time I chose not

It just so happens i have a 6 speed swap for it, if you change your mind!
It looks nice still, even for "just automatic"...

Its nice but:
-Not a fan of the splitters.
-Not a fan of the eyebrows
-You need to either pick silver or black, you can't have both for the trim. I said NO!
-You need to paint the fog surround black.
-Lower it a touch more
-if you do blackout kidneys, you need to do the side chrome trim too. refer to 3rd point.
I'd like to see a few pics of your e34, just cause they are hot.

Dammit. Why ...... see from post above...
