So it's a similar law to our own. Though, I don't believe the "Stunting" law carries a criminal jail sentence.
It can...ours has up to 6 months jail time associated with it.

If they are seriously going to enforce these kind of laws they might as well give us all smart cars.

The stupid part is that even smart cars can do 50 over on the highway. What they need to do is adjust speed limits for today's technology.

the law doesnt seem as bad as i originally thought...but its still ridiculous

it says they take away your motorcycle license up to 10 years but you can still renew your drivers license without the privelage of riding motorcycles

Actually, the new Smart Fortwo is speed limited at 145 kmh. So assuming the highway has a limit of 100, 145 does not break that 50 over mark.

See...

I stand corrected...but you could still do 50 over on a 90kph highway

Then they would be lowering them since drivers are getting worse with all this crap technology that distracts them from the real goal of driving and paying attention to the road. Plus getting a license here in the US is like ****ing trick or treating...

I completely agree, proper and mandatory driver training is key as well.

You dont get it (unless you have gotten a US license). When I moved to Florida, I lined up at the DMV, read one of 6 lines on the eye chart, paid $20, waited for my license to be mailed.

Literally. No written test, no driving test. It was scary.
