problems with installing gauge rings from corner73

anyone order and install gauge rings from corner73? i ordered a pair about a month ago for my e36 and they were too big, i even tried sanding down the edges a bit and it still didnt fit, Karim from corner73 was nice enough to send me another pair just incase i was sent a wrong pair maybe for an e46 or something i dont know. but the second pair didnt fit either. So now i m stumped and very furstrated, this is the second pair i have tried to install.
i have scuffed up my cluster pretty bad already from attempting all these installs. now i am thinking somehow my cluster might be off in size for some weird reason, Karim said the manufacturer hasnt had this problem with anyone else so i dont know what to do. if anyone is willing to let me attempt to install these rings on their cluster or install it themselves to see if they fit i will gladly pay you. maybe my gauges are just retarded for some reason. or i think i might even sell them because they clearly dont fit on my gauges, if they dont fit on the gauges of whoever buys them i will give them their money back but at least that why i know its the rings that are messed up and not my car
