Service light reset tool

Who's got one of these handy little gadgets? I'm due for an oil change and I would much rather reset the light than have it on until next time 'round. Thanks,

Oh and preferably IN OTTAWA, thought i'll be in Markham in the coming weeks. A RESET for a couple pints perhaps? thanks guys.

I JUST picked up a '97 z3 1.9 (OBD II) and the service oil light just came on, I'm picking up a filter tomorrow and doing the oil change on the next nice day. I'm out in Barrhaven but willing to meet anywhere in Ottawa for this. Send me a PM man, thanks

MIKE

you can ground pin #7 or #11 ( i cant remember most likely 7) on the round connector with the ignition on, it should also reset the service indicator.

Here's the thing - I know nothing about BMW's, I always had a honda..... I'm learning fast and looking things up constantly, but I'm not comfortable screwing with this yet, hence why I'm seing if anyone could help me out.

Also i've heard of grounding pin 7, but it seems that's there's 3 places under the hood that has the plug thing (with the pin) can anyone give me some more insight?? thanks. I'm eager to learn as much as possible so try not to rip me up too bad.. thanks,

Mike
