None of your options apply to me.

I drive and wait to fill up until I get just below 1/4. That usualy gets me about 500-520K and costs about 90$ to fill up.
It is terrible for your car to run it until the light comes on, as the pump start running too warm(they cool when submerged in fuel) and it starts to suck up the crap(presumably) from the bottom of the tank.

So ya, Fill up, drive until just below 1/4 tank, and fill up again. That happens about 2-3 times a week depending how much I drive that week.

Option number 1. I have a heavy foot. The Accord gives me about 450-500km/tank the TL gives about 550. Fill up about $130/week and I only fill up when I hit E no gas light though

Shit that is an expensive fill up. And here I was bitching about my $75-$80 fill ups every 7-8 days! I love getting almost 600km/tank

I usually let it run completely empty, and then fill it up completely and wash the car, unless it is raining/snowing I get $20, then fill up and wash next day.

I usually fill up once a week when I would be going from home to school (Downsview - Scarborough) and run little errands here and there.

Should hopefully be a lot less if my work is more closer to home.

So far my 330i steptronic is giving me 500klm worth mostly city driving, right down to the last drop $80 a fill. At least that's better than $200 desiel every week from my work truck
