Need a good road in the Ottawa area
Hey folks (Ottawa guys especially).
Next week I am heading up to the Kingston, Brockville, Ottawa area and was wondering if there are any good twisty roads up there.
Looking to do a couple of day drives just to see what there is to see.
Let me know!

Are you looking for roads within the city limits? Or do you mind heading out to the country. Within the city there aren't too many except for some of the parkways. The best but also shortest being the rockliff parkway.
Outside the center, your choices are probably gonna be Gatineau Hills park, Hwy 511 up to Calabogie...and there's a bunch more if you plan on going a little farther. Might want to put a link to this thread in the Ottawa section too, you'll get more responses from the ottawa guys that don't check this section often.

The best twisty road near Ottawa is Calabogie Motorsports Park. Failing that, the 511 leading TO the track is good too... just make sure your brakes work well
Doh ... just saw the post above mine

Thanks a bunch...
I am totally looking for something outside the city limits.
It looks like a great drive up the 511 to Calabogie.

Also, one of my favorites is the 315 up towards Tremblant, if you feel like heading into Quebec. Depends on when you go though, sometimes the traffic can be somewhat annoying.

Quebec scares me. One might even say I have Quebecphobia. I once went to Hull by accident and boy oh boy.
