I just installed a HID kit on my e34. my car is reading low beam on my information screen (check control). there are no blown lights, what could be the problem?

HID's use so little power when they're on, that the stock hardware cannot detect that they are in fact on. It happens because the instrumentation in your car isn't sensitive enough to pick up the resistance of the HID's. DDMtuning sells LBF cancellers that should fix the problem, i have no experience with their product though
