They look like deep dish hubcaps. IMO
Also whats with the euro plate under the other one? Looks dumb

I think that the rims are sweet,but are better suited for a mk2. Nonetheless car looks realy good,but more modern cars look way better with giant rims filling up the arches. Id never go bigger than 16s on my e30 but if i had that car id go 18s for sure. I still really like it though

I was at that show in Englishtown, let me tell you that some of those V-Dubs were PHAT !
guys do mad jobs with those cars, and as the previous owner of A2 gti, I can say that those cars are fun!

So does anyone have anything bad to say about old school dubs? I dont know where the pics where taken, I've had most of them on my HD for a while now. Im a former A2 owner and I can say that they are amzingly fun to drive.
