2003.5 M3 what do you guys think
Sold my 328ci.....want an m3...found a mint 2003.5 m3 with only 29000km for $40.000....what do you guys think? to much?
such a hard desicion 335i 2007 used
or M3

ya but probably has to pay 19% tax on that...or is that 41 on the road?

335 with few tweaks will be just as fast. I'd go with newer car.

My guess would be OTD. The m3 market in the US has tanked with the new e92. I've seen 2005 models go for low 30s, and 04 models hit the high 20s recently.

That's a good price. I would take the M3 over the 335 (having driven both). The M3 is more raw, more race-car ish.

shit this is tough...I can get a 335' for $43000...then you got 13% on that...the m3 $41000 on the road...have you guys driven both cars?

have any of you guys who are saying e46 M3 > 335i driven a modded 335?
i've driven a few.
335 > m3.
chip 1K
LSD 2.5K
get a coupe, the e92 sport suspension (stock, even on non ZSP coupe) isn't far off from e46 m3.

Simon you replaced a E46 with another E46, I do love the M but you could have gotten the 335 with warranty, but if that doesn't matter than you made the right choice, I still don't like the look of the new 3, but the 335 does have a lot more potential for more power for a cheap price, a few weeks ago I installed the AA ECU into the 335, easy install & $800 got a nice increase in power, but I guess you can install a HPF turbo kit into the M and get a huge power increase anyways congrats on the purchase.

I know your right...But the 335i would cost me $10,000 dollars more...I just love the way the aggressive styling of the e46...also I have one more year warranty..certified series...it's not only power...the handling, braking all combined...
