scratches

on my dad's van there is a whole bunch of little scratches on the trunk door and above the windows on the left side...it looks like it's been driven through a bush...

my dad claims i did it and backed up into tree branches or something...(i haven't tho)

is there any other explanation for this?

ps..that side of the car as well as the back are exposed to the sun every day...the other side is shaded by the house

is it possible that it's sun damage maybe?

Wrong section. This should be posted in the general section, and no the sun cannot create scratches.

You're in the right place if you are looking to repair them, however.

Ahhh the old "dad vs. son- who scratched the car"... this was the story of my life from 16 - 21. lol good ol' dad... the answer we will never know.

I never did try blaming the sun.
