from my understanding, the front is not a direct bolt on. The M3 front sway bars attach to the endlinks that attach to the strut. The standard E36 ones attach to the control arm. I know the endlinks are different, not totally sure if the sway bars lengths are different, maybe someone can clarify.

They are actually 328is sport package swaybars which I originally thought where the same size as the m3 ones.

But

It it turns out the front bars one the 328 sport package are an inch thicker in diameter then the m3 ones, which makes them the thickest stock front swaybar for the e36. And I believe the rear the same as the m3.

This would be a great stock upgrade for any 318, 325, or 328(without sports package).
