Man, I don't know you, nothing against you, but I am getting fed up with all your posts about your accident. We get it, you got screwed, CALL A LAWYER! HIRE A LAWYER! Stop asking here, no one is prolly qualified to give you a proper answer, it is all assumptions or opinions.
At least keep your questions in one thread you;ve already started.

Untrue. I am just as broke as the next guy. However, I've spent over 1000$ on lawyer fees for PROFESSIONAL adice.
This is a serious case that he will benefit in getting proper and correct advice for.

Maybe an Alternative to calling a lawyer would be to try asking somebody in York's criminology degree program?

Yes he can be a witness, why wouldn't he be able to be one? Dosn't matter if they are family. He will have to stand infront of judge and say his side of it and then that will give the judge an opertunity to dicect his testimony.

BTW: what accident?

It is not going to cost you a 1000$. You should have hired a lawyer from the get go. When I was rearended, AND handed a bunch of BS tickets that made ME at fault, the first thing I did was go and talk to a few lawyers, and hired the one I thought would represent me best!
Guess what, GOT OFF SCOTT FREE!

You keep bitching about how you are getting screwed( and I do feel you are right) etc, but, you won't do anything to help your case, except bitch on a site. Real wise Idea.

looking at the thread where you explained what happened, they're right YOU are at fault. The guy DOES NOT have to stop for you. Just because other people did doesn't mean he has to.

By law you were going against the flow of traffic. By neutral lane I'm guessing they're saying he was going straight in his lane. Which means that he has the right of way.

Getting back to your question, I don't see why you can't use your uncles as a witness.

Also listen to bmwm5lover and get a lawyer. You're wasting your time on here. If you don't have the money, borrow it. If you can't borrow it contact Legal Aid: http://www.legalaid.on.ca/
