harmon kardon?

Need info. I searched and found reference to speaker upgrades, but what i like to know is what is the basic minimal speaker upgrade can i do with out having to change out all the speakers?ie mid, lows highs....
Althoug the bass is decent for me, what can i upgrade them with without putting in a dedicated sub box, and still get a better bass?
I don't know much at all about the HK stereo or it's components. Thanks for any help. Manual says nothing

I should clarify, whats the first set of speaker i can replace that will make the most impact in sound qaulity(fronts, rears, rear deck)? I think 6X9 are the subs correct? If so how to keep stock and improve the bass? Thanks

I've been wondering the same thing, I have the HK system and the bass is alright, but could use some improvements..... Since the battery is so convieniently located, amp mounting/wiring/fuse/ground is pretty easy - only problem is getting a signal to the amp......Im pretty sure anywhere you splice off of would have an amplified signal which would cause the amp/sub to distort.....

Any thoughts on where to get the input signal from?

my setup takes the signal from the rear subs into my amp... pretty straight fwd i think (but then again, i wasn't the one that installed it)

jl stealthboxes might be a viable solution for you...

Im gettin a pair of 12" crossfires and gettin them installed by 20hzAudio. They are awsome they did my double din, and did Gary Collins(Orange M3 aka OafGuy) system too. I like the hk system, has go sound, just want a bit of punch on the bass.
