Aston Martin DB9 in Silver

No pics

Saw it driving along Fairway Rd S in Kitchener near Fairview Mall on Saturday afternoon. It was just the most gorgeous car ever. Looked something like this:

I see them almost on a daily basis around my neigbourhood, even in the bloody winter I see AM & Bentley Continental GT's.

I'd buy that instead of a house.

Yeah, a starter house. Aren't those babies going for around $250k?

AMV8 is ~150k from Grand Touring Automobiles in downtown T.O., and about 120k in the US. I'd import a one year used model w/ low miles from the US as they're admissible according to RIV. Savings are huge in this case.

viper > anything out there

For reasons, after seeing a black aston DB9 a couple of time, it seems a boring car. not for the DB7 tho!!

Astons are the sexiest cars on the road. But if you look into em, they are a total P.O.S. in terms of reliability. Looks nice on the road, IF you can keep it on the road.

EDIT: Hugh Grant was on Tops Gear talking about his, and his was in the shop more than it was on the road.

^Those days are pretty much behind Aston. The dude next door has put over 12K on his AMV8 and it's been flawless. The V-12 Vanquish and some of the DB9 F1 gearboxes were incredibly problematic, but they have come a long way since those days. The problems that do arise seem to be mostly related to the F1 transmission cars. The manual ones are pretty robust.
