For the record, you don't want Bilsteins with GCs. They don't have enough rebound, and not nearly enough travel.

Get Konis. And unfortunately for you, they cost more.

If Konis or Billys are too much you may need to look into other suspension systems.

Never honestly bottomed out my old Bilsteins, except for huge, heavy bumps on the street.

But truthfully, 90% of people won't know/feel the difference, let alone even drive to that point, especially on the street.

OP - Buy 'em. It will be worlds better than what you have already, and no other shock will be able to tame stiffer springs anyways. Forget those Tokico, KYB, etc. Standard shocks aren't any better and will only last so long, and they will blow too... will the rears?

Do you know what spring rates are you're going to run?

BTW that price for billys - VERY good price!

I would recommend to run 375F 475R.

If you're not sure then just tell them what shocks you're using and what you are going to be doing with the car and they will pick out your spring rates for you.

ok thanks,

Im gonna order the GC springs and select that theyre going with bilstein shocks, but what if lets say i find a different set of shocks after ordering the springs. What issues will this create? do any mods need to be done to the springs to make them fit with the different shocks? thanks

I would recommend at the very most 300F, 450R... In order to take into account the shocks being able to control (or lack thereof over) the springs... but each to his own.
