Sqeaking only in reverse.

Something strange has developed over the past month. Whenever I throw my car into reverse, I get a high pitched, repetitive squeaking noise coming from what sounds like the rear right side. Best comparison would be an old rusted shopping cart - but much louder.

I can't figure out why it only happens in reverse. I've played with the ebrake, thinking it might be sticking / seizing but that doesn't seem to have an effect.

Any ideas?
