So, my car is allready to hit the road, yet needs to pass a safety inspection.
The only thing it needs is functional e-brake.
So, brought it into the shop, and they're telling me that- the cables are there however- the prev. owner must of take everything apart, and kept it that way
-4 e-brake shoes
-e-brake spring kit is non-existant
-CAbles are there, but i'll replace them anyhow as they're only like 25 a pop.
HOWEVER...the big issue is that the shop says theres no backing plate?
I'm fairly mechanically inclined however have no idea what he's talking about, and that this can end up being an easy 700-800 job for a bloody ebrake??
can anyone shed some light on this?
