Central-locking problem...

I know that this is an almost standard fault on the E36, but I canīt find a solution in the other threads, because my cars symptoms is a bit different.

When I lock the car, all locks lock but only for a second before every one but the drivers become unlocked. But if I lock it from the passenger side all it does is lock that door. No sound or movement from anywhere else.

The car is a 316i -91 sedan.

Any help would be welcomed.

What, no one has even suggested to check the switches for the interior lights?..

Well, I have checked those as well. They sometimes malfunction and are going to be changed for new ones, but they are not the problem.

My guess is the fault (Or faults) are in one or both front door locking motors, or something called a microswitch on the lock itself or maybe in the control module.

I donīt know if anyone here know anything about these things.
