+2 on the S5. Saw one back in November in Florida, I was very impressed.

Some people need to get of the "BMW Mighty Horse", because that horse is not that mighty.

BMW needs to realize their interiors are garbage now. I would never want to get a BMW with a navigation system. I can't stand that 2nd dashboard pod which houses the navigation screen and i-Drive interface.

BMW needs to realize their bangle butt needs to go. The come up with nice designs, but always manage to screw it up big time with some stupid area. The 1 Series is nice, but they should have kep the side skirts straight, instead of curved.

BMW needs to realize they need to add more elegance and pure beauty to their designs like Lexus, Audi and Benz.

BMW is heading in the right direction with the E90. The problem is that other premium brands have CAUGHT UP to BMW styling wise.

Consider Lexus... the only car that sticks out is the IS series which was pretty tame and uneventful until the current iteration. The C-Class... great car, but nearing the end of it's shelf life looks wise until BOOM! the current C-Class comes out with S-Class styling, knocking all competitors out. Then we have Audi. Always a classy looking simple car, known for subtle styling (and a lack reliability). But wait a sec, what have we got here?!? what's this A5 all about?!? and the R8?!? Audi came out of no where with a supercar and an aggresive (for audi...) looking entry level coupe.

The E90 isn't a bad looking car. It has style, performance, luxury.... its the BRAND that's lagged. No innovation in it's lineup. No uber-coupe. No new tricks being pulled from that ol' BMW hat.

The new 1 series is their uber coupe, but it just doesnt have that oomph like the other cars mentioned.

You said it.

The S5 is gorgeous. Can't wait to see the RS5.

nice car nontheless!
i never said i wanted bmw n benz to look like an audi, all i said was and mainly refering to bmw is that audi has made some really big changes in the styling of their cars to really improve the look, where as bmw's styling on their current models like the 5 and 7 series is , of course when u factor in performance, handling, reliablilty etc etc bmw is still > audi but i would love to see some changes to the looks of bmws current lineup,
what i m tryin to say is that the models in the 90's that made bmw what it is today for example the e36 with pretty much owned its competition, this is not the case today with the e90, e92 even the e46, had a lot more competition, and i m not saying that the e36 is a better car than these by an means all i m saying is that the competition has caught up and bmw has failed to remain at the head of the game(just in terms of styling). mind you i m pretty happy with the new e92 guess they are starting to go in the right direction
