Squeaky Seats

So the seats in my 330 are starting to squeak, it's at the point that everytime i accelerate/decelerate they squeak. It is very noticable and it's starting to get annoying. Does anyone know any fix to this or should bring it to the dealer? I'd rather try to fix it myself but if not i'd take it in.

Thanks.

Sorry for not mentioning it, it's coming from the plastic base of the seat. It sounds like there is a lot of stress applied to some part of the base.

your seat base sits on metal rails, and sometimes those bolts that hold it into place can get loose. I think you need to isolate where the noise is coming from. Get a friend to sit on the seat and rock it back and forth to see if you can find the location.

put some leather conditioner where your leather/leatherette meets the plastic portion of the trim on your seat, it will fix it guarantedd i did it on mine, you really have to rub it in and it will go away your leather/leatherette is really dry. thats why its doin it
