Picking up the 330ci this friday!!

Due to having a baby, i had to sell my e36. I ended up buying a X5 4.4i mainly cuz i wanted a bmw and needed a suv. After driving the X5 for awhile i just couldn't do the SUV thing anymore, plus the wife was the using the X5 way more then i was. I finally took the plunge and gonna be going to victoria this friday to pick up a used 2003 330ci. Gave the X5 to the wife, and we sold her car today. Just wondering, anyone from victoria heard of Island Motorsport? they will be doing the inspection before buying the car, just wondering if they are reputable shop or not. And also i will be driving the car back to calgary, just wondering about the ferry ride from victoria, are they usually packed? should i pre reserve? or would i be ok?

why are you going all the way to victoria, why not buy from a bmw dealer in calgary. or better yet, buy from an independent in calgary. there are quite a few good ones there and they will give you a good deal. if you want to know someone let me know.

no calgary charges way too much for bmw's, BC cars are always cheaper, i have picked up 2 cars from bc, always been cheaper there. CPO's in calgary is insane, way too much.

are you buying a CPO for Victoria BMW? Why are you getting Isalnd Motorsports to look at it?

sport package only, no premium or cold package. So no heated seat, auto wipers or rear view dimmers. I haven't actually seen the car in person yet, so hopefully it looks good in person. heres a pic

hopefully theres nothing wrong with it, incase there is, my backup choice is a 2004 325ci black on black in vancouver. I perfer the 330ci for sure though. Only thing i dont like so far is the rim on the 330ci, i dont like the style 72's, you should see them for sale next week

Update: its been just over a month, and i am loving the 330ci!! no issues so far, i have painted all the trims on the day i arrived to calgary, also sold off the rims and got a set of 19" staggered csl's and lowered on some h&r race's, can't believe how much a difference painting trim and rims makes to the car, looking at the before pics, looks like totally 2 different cars..

Enjoy the drive from Victoria? When I move to Vancouver I am going to buy all of my cars from Calgary, regardless of the price, just to give me an excuse to drive that stretch.
