who makes 15x8 wheels (4x100 with low offset)

e30 fitment (ca. 20mm offset). Light weight and cheap.

See if there are any universal rims (bolt pattern wise) that fit mini coopers .. you might find something there.

Problem with the mini wheels are the offset, usually they are around +42mm, whereas Tom's looking for a more friendly e30 offset ~20mm.

isnt the Mini centerbore a problem too? IIRC its 56mm?

Yup your right, they need to be bored out. But thats usually only a problem with the OEM wheels, most aftermarket wheels come with bigger bores and hub-rings,

I know you said cheap, but you don't have many options for e30 wheels.

Here is a slightly more expensive option.
BBS RZ 15x7 et20 (aka same wheels Mystikal has)

Rota Slipstreams custom drilled from 18racing.com. I spec'd them, 15x8 ET20 hubcentric and available in different finishes.

There is a new wheel out on r3vlimited, or rather, going to be made soon. 15x8 ET 22, however they aren't proven yet.
