wheel problem

i got a little wheel problem i have m3 wheels which i thought i would polish the lip on them but i ended up doing little bit more than i expacted (polishing) i like how it turned out but i'm not sure what to do with them who ever i ask about it everybody keeps telling me i can't get them cleared because they will start peeling or i would have to scuff them up so the clear will stick to the wheels i would have to keep waxing and polishing them up i really don't feel like doing that.
Does anyone has any ideas what to do??
here are some pic
