haha...I know. I would love to do it, but the fear of certain death keeps me away.

I used to take my dad's yamaha out, and it was most definitely fun, but I know I'd kill myself if I had my own during the summers.

I was prity fast and skinyer at the time ...I ended up working at power sports and rv canada and got to test out the street bikes and omg amazing!! if I ever have the money I'm def geting a street bike

safety is key when your on two wheel's ... Dont cheat to pass

No, I didn't see your buddy's cafe, Jason.

And you can ride on the back with me, Adam. Just keep it above the equator.

Cafe racers look like this:

More here:

Insurance is going to be about $750 a year, and should go down further next year. I figure with the rising fuel prices, it'd be nice to have something to zip around in during the warm season.

You should continue to look around. My buddy's '79 is insured for about $400 a year. Call a couple brokers, not company's. Its their job to get you good rates and coverage.

I tried calling around, that's the cheapest I got, and it's through my existing insurance company.

I do have an at-fault accident on my record, which is hurting me right now. I have to wait until next year before the rates go down significantly.
