We sell it for CAN$1519. With shipping and taxes, we're at around CAN$1638

No need to price match

Heheh actually their price is not $1576, not sure where you see that.

Front and Rear fitment
Ride Height: Threaded Adjustment
Note: Avg Low 1.25-2.5"F .75-2.0"R
Lowering heights may vary with option package.

Price: $1,242.00 (kit)

The exchange rate doesn't matter too much to me as I have a USD currency credit card. I'm just trying to support the local vendor if I could get the same price no reason to pay more.

Karim@Corner73,

Interesting I just noticed that as well. I wonder how in the world they can charge GST a& PST. I thought they were located in the USA.

Karim@Corner73. So your price is all taxes included?

THey are located in the USA.

What happens is that when you order parts from the USA, the parts need to go through Canadian customs.

Canadian customs will charge duty and taxes on most imported merchandise. On top of this, the carrier (UPS in this case) will charge you a brokerage fee. This is what they charge to take care of all the paperwork for customs.

In the case of tirerack.com, they charge you all the fees upfront so that you know exactly how much you will have to pay. They charge you on behalf of Canadian customs and UPS. The tax money they collect is paid out to the Canadian government.

Check this out: www.thefinalcost.com

It is a very useful site to find out how much a part will really cost you when importing it from the USA. You will see that a seemingly lower price in the USA does not necessarily mean the part will end up costing less than from a Canadian supplier.

We only charge 5% GST for out of Quebec customers

No, not exactly

With today's exchange rate (1USD = 0.9943 CAD according to the Bank of Canada), if you add the 2.5% that the credit card company charges as currency exchange fee:

Tirerack price US$1576 = CAD$1606.42 (today)

Our price CAD$1638

So today we are CAD$31.58 more expensive. On January 21st, we were CAD$28.46 cheaper.

Depends on the day

Can you price match the blacklines?
Tisher BMW sells them for like 235$ + 30$ USPS shipping to Canada.
http://www.mileoneparts.com/partloca...catalogid=4462

If your willing to lower the price of your blacklines or pricematch it let me know.
I will pick up a set and help you post pictures on my car.

As far as I know, Tischer does not ship USPS anymore. They only do UPS to Canada.

You will have to pay brokerage fees, disbursment fees, GST, PST, currency exchange fees. Total will be around CAN$375-395 depending on the exchange rate.

Our price is $349, shipping is $20. And we just charge GST (5%). Total is $387.45.

On a good day, you will save $5-10 by ordering from Tischer. On a bad day, you'll lose $5-10. We're pretty even.

The reason why we can't lower our price any more than this is because we buy most parts from the USA where we pay the same price as any US retailer. The problem is we have to pay these importing fees ourselves whereas you have to pay them yourself when you order from a US retailer.

Let me know if you have any questions

Karim.

Good luck ordering anything from Tischer. As of Feb 1, they're not allowed to ship to Canada or international. Ask me how I know
