to let people know, the 60gig version is the only version that has the PS2 chip built in, so you'll have no problem playing those games, I have the 80gig version & some PS2 games don't work.

just because there are newer version of the games doesn't make it better, for example GTA 3 is still better than most of the newer ones, Tony Hawk 3 is better than any of the newer ones released, if you guys are playing games just for the graphics than you missed the point of good game play & control.

i understand that...and agree with you to some point.
ive only played one game on ps2 that the game play was better then ps3....and thats madden 08
everything else has been FAR better on ps3...graphics, gameplay, everything

the 60 gig with the ps2 is not as good as the ones with out it because thats why they dont make ps2 compatible anymore because they were too many problems,
dont mean to be bashing on your thread man sorry
