Anyone know of a lapping day coming up at either Mosport track thats reasonable? The next closest one is Bimmercruise, but it seems so far away

Tomorrow is Thursday, was told I would be called Tuesday if they had room for me doing the school, so I'm assuming by the lack of contact, they there is not room for me Tuesday at the school due to lack of instructors, wish they would have let u instruct, as they would have $300 of my money and you would have your lapping.

Anyway, thinking of a TMP evening session, if you up for the drive let me know and I'll check my schedule next couple weeks

It's only two weeks... and I thought you were bringing the E30? Or did you change your mind when you found out I wasn't going to be there

Nah, like I said before, not really interested in towing out that far, just to be told my car is too loud. That track isn't good enough to take a chance on. Only planning on driving it at Mosport for now since those are the two most relevant tracks for me in the near future.

Yeah I'm still bringing the E30 for the Autox. But lapping is included in the Autox fee, so I figured I could bring the '02 there and run it for a few laps to see that its all good. The only doubt I have for that particular event is there's a lot of track noobs there, and the risk of being on track with such people isn't appealing.

They should split the advance/novice run groups I believe so it shouldn't be too bad, you should put te car in the show, good chance you'd hit a trophy!

A turbo makes the exhaust a lot quieter.

Rumour is going around. Something about you hiring a professional to shake the car down?

After some electrical/charging gremlins yesterday and early this morning, I managed to make it to the track in the afternoon, and am pleased to say it was a pretty successful day at Mosport! The '02 ran well for the 3 sessions that it had time to make... But it became apparent that the fuel cell is waaaaaayyy too small. The car could only manage about 25-30 mins before it started to hiccup. Surprisingly it has a lot more speed than before, even with taking it easy. Best lap of the day ended up being 4 secs faster than when I shook it down initially at Mosport last year. And I still think there is another 1-2 secs in it!

Hopefully a video will be posted shortly, or tomorrow sometime. For now here is a pic of the car on track taken by another maX member!
