air conditioning freon type?

would anyone have an idea where i could find the info of what freon i need for my 1990 325i convertible? (i dont have the drivers manual) also i cant seem to find a sticket with the info anywhere

With a 1990 you're probably running R12 still, unless someone converted it. You may as well convert it to R134a (change compressor and valve fittings), as finding R12 now is next to impossible in Canada.
