euro bumper conversion

I've been approaching an E24 purchase for a couple of years now, not a specific one - money, space and time being the big deterrents - but anyway . . .

Really want the euro look - what's involved in doing a euro bumper conversion - say on an 84 as shown . . .

The front is pretty simple you can make some simple brackets from 1.5inch pipe and some flat 1/4inch metal. The rear is a lot more involved it will take some cutting and a bit of welding to get everything to look right. Go to and do a search, there are quite a few people who have done this conversion.
