New purchase

Hi guys.

I just purchase a 2007 BMW 328i, with safety certificate. On my way home I noticed the car was bouncing a little as I sped down the road. I'm not sure if these are flat spots in the tires or bad side walls. Also, since they safety the car with bad tires, are they responsible for replacing the bad tires?

Thanks K

Tires won't make a car "bounce". Maybe you mean vibrations through the steering wheel? If the car bounces, that would indicated failed dampers (struts).
Didn't you test drive it?

Yeah I test drove it. It felt a little funny at low speeds. I never got the car above 60 because of traffic.

I took it back and two tires were swapped. The car drives much better now. One of the tires had a bubble on the inside wall.

Thanks for your response.

Glad to hear you got it fixed.
