E30 LS6 Swap

Hi Everyone,

Looking to purchase an E30 with the LS6 swap and T56 tranny.

While I am not new to BMW, I have never owned an E30.

The car is very clean and the swap is well done close to 400whp.

I am looking for feedback on what this thing will feel like. What does 400whp feel like in an E30 for those that have ridden in one?

Pros and cons?

Current diff mount is single ear but will be upgraded to a dual mount.

Thanks

I have decided not to go ahead with the purchase. Upon further research. it appears LS motors are not REV happy as the BMW S motors.

Yeah i know eh.

But here are some pics of the car:

They can rev if you build them for that. Most build for low end torque.
Here's a 9500 rpm LS motor.

Nice looking, no doubt. And yes lots of torque down low but I've haven't sat in a car with a Ls motor and not knowing how it really feels made me hold off on this one.

Car was posted on bringatrailer but did not sell as the reserve was not met. V_Bimmer if you interested let me know. I can put you in touch with the seller. He owns the shop who did the swap out in the US. They do fantastic work.
