FS: OEM BMW Illuminated ///M Leather Shiftknob

As the subject title states...

I have a mint condition OEM BMW Illuminated ///M Black Leather Shiftknob (BMW Part Number 25 11 2 231 561) for sale. It includes the shiftknob and wiring harness for E36 series. 1 of the molex connects was cut off to tap into my old Z3 12v switched wires, but i'm also including that connector as well. Asking $140 obo.

Im not so wure it will fit, see even if the thing does fit on your shifter (which it probably will) the wiring to make it illuminate needs to be plugged into the dimmer switch for your interior car lights, and if its not a direct fit, it wont work

I can't guarantee that it will fit your shifter. You may want to call the dealer and confirm. But I can guarantee that the wiring for the illuminated ///M is in your car. Basically, if your dash lights up, then you can wire this shift knob. All you have to do is tap into a red/grey wire and a brown (ground) wire....

The cool thing about the knob is that it dims with your dash dimmer as well.

Actually I dont think it will plug right in, you would have to cut and splice some wires on it. It wouldnt plug in the way mine does and the way its supposed to

Who said anything about plugging right in...if you read my reply, you'd see that I said you'd have to tap into some wiring...
