sealed beams to elipsoid

I'm in the process of converting my '90 325ix from sealed beams lights to elipsoids, does anyone know how to wire the lights so that they work the same way as the original sealed beams?

My problem is that when I turn on the high beams both outer lights go out and only the inner high beams go on, I would like when I turn on the high beams that all 4 high beams go on like normal operation.

any advice on this would be great

The way they show in the link is exactly the way I have wired up my lights, when I turn on my high beams both outer lights go out and just the inner lights go on, all four lights should go on when the high beams are turned on.

I think the problem is that when the high beams are turned on the power to the yellow wire gets cut and switches to the white wire which would activate the high beam in the sealed beam light since there are three prongs on the sealed beam and only two on the elipsoid....

has anyone else run into this issue?, or are you all using inner high beams only?

my issue was

no lights are on...the outer light only came on when my inner lights were one.

solution: high beam light always on, inner light bulbs disconnected.

not the same but similar issue

Still trying to figure this problem out, tonight I noticed that the low beam relay in a car wired for elipsoids has an extra terminal, 87b, cars wired for sealed beams only have 4 prong low beam relays. There is no way to put in the 5 prong relay because there is no extra terminal for it in the fuse box. Does anyone know how this could be by-passed?
