E39 Cluster Going Haywire

Spent the day pulling the dash/cluster to install a new blower motor. Battery was unplugged for a long time (6-7 hrs). Upon startup after putting everything back together, my cluster is all lit up. EML light. Temp gage all the way over to red (def not overheating). Yellow tranny light and yellow brake light. Fuel gage all the way on empty with a full tank. No speedo or rpms. The first startup the engine was running really rough. Second startup it sounded normal again - but still the lights remain. Also, turn signals not working. Thoughts?

Do you have an OBDII adapter/tool? You could try clearing all faults.
Ideally you'd have the BMW INPA software to really see what's going on and possibly reprogram your dash.

Are you sure you wired it back up properly without damaging any pins?
