Question Understanding Carsoft 6.5 Codes



Would someone please explain to me what each of the codes actually stands

for. I just got the program, so im in the learning process. If you have any

additional tricks or suggestions about Carsoft, plese let me know.

Wow, thank you all. I guess Carsoft 6.5 is not as advanced to read all those codes.

As you can see in my scan alot of Codes read "Module not responding" what does that mean? connection problem between the scanner to the module, or that code doesn't apply to my car there fore module not responding?

Try going to the manufacturer website and updating the software for your reader.

obd1 e36's (if that's what you are scanning) don't have those modules, to get the actual error u need to scan each module separately when you scan all it just shows you're what has faults, but to read actual faults scan each separately. And as for the codes in the help section of carsoft when u lunch the bmw thing it has all the info. I got car soft and i tried scanning my e36 obd1 and modules were not responding so i did all the research to find out that it doesn't have thous modules it also says that in the help.

The scan was done on a E39 540i.

So if it says "Module not responding" that means that the software is not supporting those scans?
