VF Engineering S/C

Whats up guys...

So planning on going the FI route and have been weighing my options... so far bang for buck and ease i found S/C would be better than a Turbo.

BTW I have a 2005 330Ci ZHP... Canadian version so i don't even think it actually has the cams.

That being said i think the VF setup is my plan. Has anyone else run this setup yet? Any Experience with any other kits?

Lets hear it... any info is good info

Maybe it's better sell it and buy e46 m3 instead of buying charger, probably will end up similar cost.
330+charger = m3

e46 m3 artcar, ap racing bbk, maxpsi build in progress

I am using VF's setup in my 330i canadian zhp.

The install instructions is absolutely ridiculous. the power gains are impressive though!. I am currently using VF's tune for my 30# injector and 6psi pulley non intercooled setup.

It definitely woke my car up! once the vanos engages thats when she really flies. I would recommend the kit for the cost! But make sure to check the alternative suppliers.

Let me know if you have any more questions

I had the AA stage 2 kit on my old 325ci with full exhaust and headers and i absolutely loved the thing. Pulled HARD!

We also installed the same setup on my buddies 325ci, except with AA's HKS blower (at the time), and for some reason it wasn't pulling nearly as hard as my Rotrex. So if you are gonna go with an AA kit, i would reccomend it to have the Rotrex.

Just some experience on AA.

Also, the AA sounds like a 747 landing...Definitely recommend it.

Not sure what you mean
"Canadian version so i don't even think it actually has the cams. "

If it means does the Canadian M Performance Package ZAM have the upgraded camshafts, engine tuning and redline of the US ZHP; yes it does.
What it doesn't have is the red needles on the tach.

But I agree, it will likely cost about the same as buying an M3, which includes all the other upgrades like suspension, brakes, etc.
Of course the M3 will cost more to maintain, but fuel consumption will be increased with the forced induction as well.
