1993 E34 M5 s38b36 motor for sale, recently rebuilt

I have for sale motor as described in the title. The motor is currently in the car and can be driven. I was rebuilt last year and has approximately 8000 kms on the motor. It also has available for review a dyno test. The motor is in excellent shape and sound awesome. I am asking 7500.00 or b.o.

When was this motor rebuilt? How long ago? Any proof of paperwork of the rebuild? What was replaced on it?

CRAZ AZN,

I have receipts for the rebuild from Marcus Glarner. In fact Mr. Glarner is very reputable with these motors, and MarkD will attest to that. He has been running a BMW M1 for a number of years, and also rebuilding these motors.
You can PM if you want to discuss over the phone. I have receipts also a relatively recent DYNO test, not too mention the security of knowing the motor is in the car and running perfectly fine. Most used motors in the market are chancey to say the least, and are not available for driving to satisfy yourself. I know this all too well. As i did purchase a motor for roughly 5g's about a year ago, and it ran about four months.

Disassembler,

before you laugh too loud (LOL) you should know your info first. Marcus has been around in this scene with these motors longer than you probably have had your license.

I know this.

I had the opportunity to chat with MarkD about this motor, and now I know exactly which one it is. Lets be very clear it was NOT rebuilt, JUST RE SEALED.

It is however a very strong engine, with low kilometers, and good compression across the board. It just irritates me to see that you and the previous owner call it rebuilt, when really it just got a few new seals, and general maintenance. All of the main parts inside are still original.

I am not here to buy this motor, but just to set the record straight for any potential buyers. Good luck with your sale.

CRA AZN

With respect I made mention of MarkD as he is aware of this motor, in effect to show i have nothing to hide. If in fact i did, and "try to pass off" this motor as rebuilt this would not have been the case.

The receipts i have for this motor do not only detail a "re-sealing" as you refer to it as, hence i invited you to contact me directly to view the receipt i have and verify yourself what you consider to be re-sealing or rebuilt.

In conclusion don't irritate yourself too much for no respectable reason.
