Posted in the wrong place and I don't think I've ever seen anything this poorly written. There are these things called 'grammar' and 'spelling', look into them sometime Alex.

Anyway, I do have something constructive to ad: I've gotten good prices from TD Insurance. I can insure my e30 for ~$200, under my name at 22 years old (clean record, finally). Check them out. You may be setting your goals unrealistically low though.

So the issue is not that you can't be insured , you just don't like the rates being offered.

254 if you live in the gta though high is not really abnormal ( even if you have a perfect driving record which is my assumption )

Did I just long onto Maxbimmer - Uzbekistan version?!

$254 sounds high. Is that for FULL coverage? Just go with liability only. For comparison, my 330Ci used to be $290/month for full coverage before I turned 25. The M5 is $296 or so for full coverage and I am 25. A 1992 325is that's worth a fraction of either of those two shouldn't be costing you nearly as much to insure.

WOW. I pay $98/month for my '01 M5, used as a daily with full coverage and $300 deductibles.

What's the full story behind your policy to get that price?

e39 M5 on the insurance scale is pretty expensive, it costs more to insure than newer Austin Martins, 911's, Audi RS4 etc. I'd like to know how to get my rates so low please.

Male, 36, married, no accidents/tickets, 15km commute to work, 1M liability, $300 deductibles for comp/collision.

Discounts:

P.Eng(PEO membership), multi vehicle, house insurance with them as well.

My wife's '03 530i is $89/month so not much less.

Hmm..254$/month isn't that bad specially if you live in the GTA, i would suggest you to try Kanetix to get an idea of whats the lowest quote...i pay 225$(Belairdirect the cheapest i think)for my 1997 bmw M3 one way coverage and am 19 and with driving record but the thing is that i live in Ottawa wich is considerably cheaper than Toronto.

Value of your car has little is a very small portion of your premium... risk factor and liability is what makes up majority of your premium. Just because a car is older and has less value does not mean it will be cheaper to insure. If the vehicle has bad safety ratings or does not compare well to current safety standards a larger premium is assigned. Likewise if a car has really high theft rates. The actual cost of repairing or replacing a vehicle makes up a small portion of payouts from insurance claims relative to the medical claims made annually.. Just an FYI.
