e36 newbie

I came across a 1993 325is, with 150k km, red on black body 8/10, mechanically needs muffler and usual belts.

Asking price is 6000$CDN

What do you think? What options are standard on a 93 325is?

Thanks

offer him $5000 in cash... save that $1000 for maintenance and repairs.

figure you'll need one or more of: new plugs, wires, O2, muffler, brakes, springs, shocks, rad fluid flush & fill, oil change, clutch, timing chain, brake fluid, and possibly small things like light bulbs, air filter, small trim bits, etc. etc.

Thanks Dave,
Deep down I do like the e30's more due to their compact size and decent performance...but if a good e36 deal comes along...why not right!
