LCD for OBC and Cassette

My LCD for the radio and OBC (On Board Computer) started to fade out. Any suggestion as to where and how much it cost to fix it???

Well looking at the DIYs radio unit seems to be easier to repair rather than the speedo one. I believe its quite pricey to get them fixed. Best thing is to find a used one that is O.K.

on the obc is it faded or are there missing pixels? Faded means just replacing a bulb which is about a $5 fix. The missing pixels can be fixed yourself. There is a DIY link somewhere on this forum I actually used myself and it does actually work. The obc is pretty eary to take apart and all you need to do is re alignt and push together the connections esuing a strip of tape

Thanks. On both of the the light is fading - more so on the OBC than the radio. I can still see the radio LCD but very dim. OBC is darker, but if the sun shines on the unit, then you can see the digits. The clock on the OBC however is working fine!
