Burnt Projector Bowls

My headlights are not as bright as they use to be. I changed the headlight lens and it helped a little.

I did some research and found that projector bowls are a common cause for this. Does anybody have suggestions for places to get this fixed locally.....

Thanks

Not sure about locally, but I just replaced mine with the Retrofitsource package: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/com...l#.VU0iH5P57QQ

Minimal cutting required, works great.

Are you running halogens or HID?

FYI, HID bulbs don't last forever, they lose brightness over time and also colour shift, causing additional loss in the perceived/useable brightness. I put in a new set of stock bulbs and the difference was astounding. My lights are incredible now.

These were the best deal I found at the time last year:

http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B004...ilpage_o03_s00

It took a while to get them, but it looks like they have them in stock now.

Also got these

http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00B...ilpage_o03_s01

as an upgrade to the highbeams.

Definitely give the new bulbs a shot since even if you do need new bowls, you're still going to need to bulbs if they are in fact the originals.
