Angry really need ews help no crank

OK so the antenna ring on my 99 328i e46 broke where the wires is sooo first i bought a new battery and tried to do the ews delete by crossing the wires like the ews bypass tutorial shows i just got a crank no spark so i figured it was the ecu i seen an ecu from a 97 328i e36 it had the ews delete from trm performance so obviously it didn't work and i wasted 120$ i thought it might be a chip in the ecu but it ended up being flashed so moving on today i bought a used antenna ring off 2001 530i the part number seemed to be the same so i went and picked it up reason i bought it used is because dealerships are closed Sundays and i really need to get the car started soo that also didn't work when i switched everything back and tied the wires together put the new ring on i have full power cause of the new battery but no crank no spark the fuel pump is on i'm seeing there's just no spark any ideas would be appreciated i really need to get my daily driving car running again

Why didn't you replace the ring right from the start!? Would have saved a lot of time and $$$$, as you can tell....By now who knows what is gone/blown/burned. Or it might need the EWS/ECU/key re-aligned (easy job for any BMW shop). Or just buy a matching set.
