1988 M3 For Sale - Garage Queen

My beautiful garage queen is for sale. I bought this car last August and have driven it very little. My only reason for selling is that I'm obsessed with acquiring nice toys but get bored soon after so I'm already obsessing over getting something new.

- VIN: WBSAK0304J2196808
- 60,730 miles
- US car
- No accidents, body is in fantastic shape, no rust
- Original paint except for hood, rear spoiler, rocker panels (I had the paint measured everywhere to confirm this after I got the car)
- I've gone with a Euro look but all the OEM parts come with the car and are in excellent condition as you can see from the first group of pics which are from the PO.
- No rips, tears or cracks in the interior. I've gone over the leather a few times with leatherique since I got the car
- Everything works including converted A/C, OBC, all lights, etc.
- I replaced every shifter related part in order to cure the shifter buzz

Recent Repairs/Improvements:

- Replace Aluminium control arms x2 bushings etc.
- Replace rear|auto-edit|subframe|auto-edit|bushes x 2
- Propshaft coupler, guibo new
- All drivebelts
- Axle seals x 2
- New tires Yokohama 205/55/15 x 4
- New cat and muffler
- New thermostat/temp.sensor

- 17" Hartge 3 piece wheels (shipped from Markus in Germany)
- Toyo Proxes T1R (215/40/17 and 245/35/17) - brand new
- CF kidneys
- CF splitter (not installed)
- Z3 1.9 shift kit
- New coolant reservoir
- BMW advanced battery charger (bought used from eBay)
- New Bilstein Sport and H&R Race
- Various bushings, clips, etc. to eliminate shifter buzz
- Euro grill and clear turn signals
- Startec smoked tail lights (bought from German eBay)
- Black Gustave Spark Plug Bracket
- Evo lower airbox
- Hartge strut brace
- Charcoal bumper tape (not installed)
- OEM BMW cover
- New wheel chuck to replace missing one
- New front sway bar links
- New battery

- Smoked Hella (not installed) + PIAA bulbs
- Illuminated shifter from Turner
- BimmerWorld 8mm Evo red wires
- Hazet 880MgT-18 Spark Plug Socket
- NOS Spark plug tool (to complete the tool kit)
- Extra OEM key
- Interior dimmer relay
- Recharged A/C and had car totally checked over

I will consider three pricing options:

1. $29K for everything, including all the OEM parts, cover, etc.
2. $25K for the car in OEM state (I will remove Hartge wheels & strut brace, smoked Hella and Startec, euro grills and turn signals, CF kidneys and splitter)
3. Trade for a '95 Porsche 911 (I would incl. some cash for a CDN car)

I cannot recall his name but was this bought from a younger guy in the T.O. area?

No, I bought it in Nova Scotia and that PO imported it from the US.

This is honestly the cleanest E30 M3 I have seen.

The zinc plating is still on all the bolts, drives and sounds like new!

Nice and tight!

Worth every penny!

This sounds like a fantastic example of an E30 M3. IF it is exactly as you say it is, this is a great buy for someone. Somebody should snatch this up.

Also, post this up on if you haven't already.

Well, I took the car for a nice drive the other day and had so much fun I decided I wasn't ready to part with this little gem. I'd probably end up wanting another and it would be very hard to find one as nice.

You're not dreaming, that was me. I was picking up my daughter which is one of the things I really like about the car. Both my girls can fit in the back and still have a nice view
