Job Posting-National Bank



Hey guys,

National Bank is looking to fill a part-time CSR position (Thurs-Sat) and a Personal Banking Advisor position (full-time).

For the CSR position, there really aren't any prerequisites in terms of qualifications because of the entry-level nature of the position. However, banking experience would definitely be an asset, as well as post-secondary education.

Conversely, qualified candidates for the PBA position will have a university degree and be willing to attain their mutual funds license within 3 months (it is a great asset if you already have your IFIC or CSC). Previous banking experience is also an asset.

Anyone interested, and more importantly qualified for these positions may submit (cut/paste) their resumes through private message; and those who meet the criteria will be provided with an e-mail where they can send a printable copy of their resume/cover page so that it may be submitted for further review.

Both positions are for the Aurora branch. If you want to drop by with a resume, you can do so at any time during branch operating hours.

CSR jobs are a dime a dozen on Workopolis or bank websites. Arek, good luck becoming a prop trader. Whereas in the 80s you only needed a high school education, now you need an MBA, a CFA and lots of bending over and getting it. Those jobs are not at bank level, but an investment firm.

Suprano is advertising the jobs because he gets a finder's fee. Suprano, why would you want someone's resume? That's a privacy breach. You should provide interested parties with the official posting or hiring manager's contact info to forward their CV directly.

^^on account of Rob has been a member here for nearly 5 years, and is well known to most of the active members, i dont think any of the people who would be applying for this job really care if rob sees what year they graduated from college.

Even if Rob does get a finders fee if he gets someone hired, the person who got hired will presumably be happy with their job. So what's the problem?

If you really want to cut rob out of the equation, you know:
-What company the posting is for
-What position the posting is for
-What branch the posting is at

You could figure it out for yourself.
