rogers decided to charge me a 50$ downgrade fee last month.

i call, ask CSR why its on my bill.

"ITS CAUSE YOU CANCELLED YOUR DATA PLAN. BLA BLA BLA"

/me *interrupts* no, i can see online that my data plan is still on the account.

"Did you want it cancelled?"

/me "no"

Oh.

Yeah. Credit that to my ****ing account. Now.

Seriously, i'm gonna buy a satphone. 3$ a minute is worth it to not have to deal with ****ing rogers.

I think a lot of their customer ditched their services, now rogers is smacking everyone all over.

I agree with you, paying for incoming texts is really stupid. Because I can sit there and jack up someones phone bill and they cant do anything about it. But that is how it is in the US, you have to pay for incoming texts.

I love how they go on and on about how the nature of their business is so tough, and they barely make any money off you, BLAH, BLAH BLAH. **** those guys.

If they had no profits, then how the hell are they expanding like crazy?

For once, Id like to see a company stand up and be like "You know what, YA all companies are going to charge for text messages, but, WE WONT because we dont need to"

Oh but wait, they all collude with each other anyway. That is the nature of the Canadian Economy. Let a few ****ing monopolies exist so they can do w/e they want. Add a few lobbyists, and the skies the ****ing limit for them.

At least in the USA there actually is competition to some regard.

I use their E71 on prepaid. My Credit Score is high and they called me three times just to switch to monthly. I turned them down. I JUST DO NOT want to deal with thieves.
Let alone all BS when I am in EU for a summer. Still with evening talking pack option on PP, there is no need to go monthly. Scew evening talking. It's the daytime that we need. Just do not want any letters/bills from that monopoly shithole company.
