Does anyone know the spring rate of Eibach Sportlines?
I have them & am going with Bilstein Sports all around. This thread has me somewhat thinking about Koni's now, but im getting the bilsteins at a great price, had looked into this discussion prior to purchasing them and felt confident in them.

I have Koni's in the front and Biltstein HD's in the back (Billy's getting changed for Koni's in the spring) and IE Stg 3 springs. The rear of the car is definately underdampened right now, but the front is awesome.

Eibach never made a Sportline spring for the E30. You must have the Pro-Kit, which are best used as doorstops; for the love of everything sacred don't put these on your car. Far too short for their rates (almost identical to stock), they ruin E30s.

Sheldon, here are a few rates of the common spring sets. Took me a while to get all of these together over the years:
OEM M3: 140/250
H&R Sport : 182/343
H&R Race : 315/570
Eibach Pro-Kit : 148/275-343
IE Stage 3 : Same as H&R Race, stiffer under compression at front
Bilstein BTS: 126-153/360
Dinan Sport: 171/300
Turner J-Stock: 680/1026

God damn, those J-stocks are stiffer than I thought they were.
Either way, I'm damn happy with my IE's. When my car moves to dedicated track rat usage it's a GC set up, but for now the IE's stay. I need to take you for a few laps this year Jay, they really do well for progressives.
