can't say I am the biggest fan, but maybe if they become red when you brake or signal they would look better, but I don't think they look cheap like some of you were saying.

Yea... those lights have a lot of class.

Having red LED's when you brake won't make a difference. When you turn off the car or stop braking you'll end up seeing those hideous white lights and end up puking.

I guess they forgot itz a BMW and not a Civic.

Yeah, I don't like them either. Look cheap.

The reason Canada banned the clear aftermarket lights is because they produced such limited amount of light. I remember back in '99 or something, most clear-tail Integras lit up a weak pink, not red. The lens I think was thicker, and in conjunction with regular bilbs seriously retarded the light. I'd put in a bet that during bright sunlight, one would not know if a person was braking at all....

I don't like them. I saw them on a silver Z4 at square one a couple of days ago and it just didn't look right...
