Alpina B6 front sensor issue

Got the car couple months ago, it?s a 2016 model fully loaded. What I?ve noticed was that when the car gets close to the car in front or side (very often during traffic), there?s no beeping sound that warns you, Unless I manually press the parking button to activate the sound as well as the camera. Apparently my friend?s X5 as well as my last car (2012 Panamera) all have the sensor automatically activated when car gets close to an object. I was wondering if a 2016 6 series has this feature or is there a way to enable it. Thanks!
