Why does the B58 have diff HP in my '18 340 vs. my '18 X3?

Sorry for the somewhat duplicate post. After lots of views from a similar post by me but no answers, I decided to change the title. I'm trying to learn why my 2018 340 M-sport only has 320HP while my 2018 X3 M has 382 HP. As I understand it, both are running the B58 engine. Any ideas?

If you mean 2018 X3 M40i, then it makes 355hp, not 382. The reason why it makes 35hp more is because it X3 M40i comes with the M-Performance Power kit, which is a different tune. You can get in for your 340 as well.

Thanks SickFinga for clarifying. Yes. I have the M40i. Do I get the M-Performance kit from the dealer and if so, does it void the warranty?
